Here is what we can expect in the PC version of the remaster:
Those of us that cannot play the game without 100+ mods may hold off on making the switch right away. I know I will at least wait at until the team behind the Unofficial Patch can take a look at the game.
That being said, the support for 64-bit and new graphical setting will be a great resource for the modding community. I cannot wait to jump back in and spend another 300 hours on side quests before meeting the Greybeards!
Enjoy the new experience and feel free to contact us with any questions at reddit.com/r/gamersbullet!
Here is what we can expect in the PC version of the remaster:
- 64-bit support. More RAM will hopefully mean better performance. No longer need to mod in the 4GB support.
- Support for existing Skyrim saves. This will likely cause issues if you play a modded version of the game. We personally recommend starting a new game.
- Free for PC DLC owners! No harm in trying it out if it’s free!
- Support for Bethesda.net mods. This is great, but Nexus is better! Check out nexusmods.com/skyrim
